§ Sir B. Jannerasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs whether, in view of the continued detention by Syria of two persons who were in the Trans-World Airways aeroplane which was hi-jacked, and in view of the release by Syria of the two persons responsible for the hi-jacking, he will instruct Her Majesty's Government's representative at the United Nations to vote against the proposed inclusion of Syria as a member of the Security Council.
