asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what plans he has to adjust the levels of income and other taxes when decimal currency is introduced.

This year's Finance Act has made several changes in preparation for decimalisation, and I made a statement about stamp duties on 16th June. Tax rates in a decimal system will depend on the Budgetary requirements of the time, and I have no further statement to make at present.—[Vol. 785, c. 63.]
