§ Mr. LuardOur embassy in Moscow was told on 26th September that Mr. Scharegin was to be tried for an offence. We have not been informed about the nature of the charges, In response to our repeated enquiries the Soviet authorities have told us that we shall receive the necessary information in due course; we are continuing to press for this.
