Mr. Marksasked the Secretary of State for Social Services, in the light of the recent survey in the Manchester area by the Child Poverty Action Group, a copy of which has been sent to him, which showed that a high proportion of post offices was unable, when asked, to produce the appropriate forms for applicants for welfare benefits, what discussions he is having with the Post Office Corporation to ensure that the service provided, in this field, by the Corporation is satisfactory.
