§ 37. Mr. Anthony Royleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will give Mr. Nikita Venizelos, 116W Leader of the Liberal Party of Greece, the necessary documents to enable him to reside in the United Kingdom and to travel overseas, in view of his application to Her Majesty's Government for political asylum.
§ Mr. Merlyn ReesMr. Venizelos is in Italy, and so no question of the grant of political asylum in the United Kingdom arises. An application by Mr. Venizelos to come to the United Kingdom is being sympathetically considered in the light of all the relevant circumstances, and there should be no difficulty about this.
