Walker-Smithasked the Secretary of State for Defence whether he will overhaul the recruiting procedures for apprenticeship in the Royal Air Force to prevent a repetition of the defect in those procedures made in the case of a constituent of the right hon. and learned Member for Hertfordshire, East, particulars of which are in his possession.
§ Mr. HattersleyI am well aware of the case referred to by the right hon. and learned Gentleman and I have arranged for the recruiting procedures to be adjusted to avoid any recurrence of the defect.
