asked the Secretary of State for Defence what arrangements are made for personnel of the Beira patrol requiring hospital treatment.

There are no special arrangements for the Beira Patrol.

Any urgent medical cases which could not be dealt with by the medical staff on board would be taken to the nearest port having suitable medical facilities.
