§ Mr. Lubbockasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government if he will seek the advice of the Law Commission with a view to repealing the Forcible Entry Acts of 1381 and 1623 and at the same time introducing a new Bill clarifying the rights of property owners to deal with squatters.
§ Mr. FreesonMy right hon. Friend is considering this whole question in consultation with the Lord Chancellor and the Secretary of State for the Home Department, but is not yet in a position to make a statement.
