§ Mr. Lomasasked the Minister of Transport if he will take steps to exempt mopeds with pedals and having a cubic capacity of 50 c.c. or under from all forms of licensing and taxation in the interest of relieving congestion in city centres and in conformity with the legislation in the European Economic Community countries, details of which are in his possession.
§ Mr. MulleyNo. I am satisfied that the exemptions suggested even if acceptable, would do little towards relieving congestion in city centres.
