§ Mr. FoleyConsuls are under instructions to take all proper steps to safeguard the interests of United Kingdom nationals within their districts; these cover the contingency of grave or fatal accident. Varying arrangements exist for contact with consuls at weekends; they do not, however, apply in all cases to honorary consulates.
