asked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if he will make a statement on the recent visit of the Minister of State to Australia and New Zealand.

At the invitation of the New Zealand Government my right hon. Friend the then Minister of State visited New Zealand from 19th to 28th August. He attended the opening of the Auckland International Trade Fair and was present at the British Pavilion on British Day. He had discussions with Mr. Holyoake and other New Zealand. Ministers.

From 28th to 31st August he visited Australia and had discussions with Australian Ministers.
