§ Captain Kerbyasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if, in view of the fact that, by acceding to the Common Market, the United Kingdom will be open to immigrant workers from other member states within the Community without restriction, and coloured Commonwealth immigrants established in Great Britain will be prevented from living and working in other Common Market countries, he will give an assurance that he will negotiate a change in the Community's policy on this matter.
§ Mr. George ThomsonSince the facts referred to by the hon. and gallant Gentleman are not correct, the need for such an assurance does not arise.
