§ Mr. Gregor Mackenzieasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what representations he has received from the Scottish Board of the Royal College of Nursing and National Council of Nurses of the United Kingdom on salaries; and what reply he has sent.
§ Mr. RossYesterday a message was received from the Scottish Board; the reply was to the effect that while the views of the Board had been noted, it would not be appropriate to comment further at this stage when a pay claim had only just been put forward in the Nurses and Midwives Whitley Council which is responsible for the negotiation of nurses pay.
