§ 46. Mr. J. H. Osbornasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government what steps he has taken to implement the 1968 Town and Country Planning Act; and whether he has yet circularised local authorities about the provisions in Sections 6 and 7 of the Act relating to the preparation of, and publicity about, local plans.
§ Mr. SkeffingtonCommencement orders and related regulations and circulars have been made and issued for all the Act except Part I, which introduces the new development plan system based on structure plans. But a wide range of authorities have already been invited to start preparing for the application of Part I to their areas, and my right hon. Friend will shortly be consulting bodies concerned about the necessary regulations and circulars.
