§ Mr. Ameryasked the Minister for the Civil Service whether the Government accepts the principle that all unestablished service in the Civil Service should count towards a pension; and whether he will start negotiations with the appropriate bodies on a possible scheme to implement the principle.
§ Mr. ShoreCivil servants with unestablished service may normally count that service towards pension on subsequent establishment. The Fulton Committee on the Civil Service recommended that the Civil Service pension scheme should be extended to cover temporary staff.
