§ Mr. GreenwoodThe position of local authorities is very different from that of private landlords and the problems that arise are quite distinct. I am not satisfied therefore that there is any urgent need to extend the provisions of the Rent Act, 1968, into the public field, but I will gladly consider any evidence my hon. Friend wishes to submit.
