§ Mr. Blakerasked the President of the Board of Trade what changes he is making in the organisation within his Department for dealing with regional economic matters following the transfer of responsibility for industrial development certificates to the Ministry of Technology.
§ Mr. MasonThe main economic work now falling to the Board of Trade in the regions is export promotion. The organisation of this work has recently been reviewed within the Department, and I shall announce improved arrangements for handling it as soon as possible.
