§ Mr. Geoffrey Lloydasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what progress he has made in the provision of special units for the mentally sick or seriously maladjusted adolescents; how many beds are available for such patients; and how many he estimates will be provided within the next 12 months.
§ Mr. CrossmanThere are now 17 special units providing 345 beds compared with 13 and 250 a year ago. Two more units providing 55 more beds are due to open in the next 12 months.
