§ Mr. Moonmanasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if he will issue an interim statement on the Report of the Advisory Committee on Pesticides and Other Toxic Chemicals 158W into the hazards to health from the use of Vapona insect repellant.
§ Mr. FowlerThe report of the Advisory Committee on Pesticides and Other Toxic Chemicals on its further review of certain persistent organochlorine pesticides, to which I presume my hon. Friend refers, has been received. It is being considered and will be published shortly. Some of these organochlorine pesticides are used in vaporisers, and I suggest that he awaits the publication of the report.
