§ Dr. Ernest A. DaviesI know of no special reason. Some seasonal fluctuations must, however, be expected, especially in a fashion industry such as this. Figure for the first nine months of 1969 show a considerable improvement: exports of women's leather footwear to the U.S.A. were higher than in the corresponding period of 1968. The improvement in men's leather footwear exports has also been maintained.
