HC Deb 14 November 1969 vol 791 c170W
Mr. Kershaw

asked the Minister of Transport whether he is aware that the A433 road through Tetbury has been dug up three times in the last six months; what is the reason for these excavations; when they will cease; and what is his estimate of the financial damage caused to traders and the public by them.

Mr. Bob Brown

We are advised by the highway authority, Gloucestershire County Council, that Tetbury Rural District Council has bin laying a new storm water drain arid that statutory undertakers have taken the opportunity to renew equipment at the same time. Work is expected to finish by the end of this month but final resurfacing will be done next spring.

The county council is not aware of financial damage to traders or the public.
