HC Deb 12 November 1969 vol 791 c86W
50. Mr. Brewis

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what estimate he has made of the acreage of land which will be planted in the south-west of Scotland by private forestry companies between 1969 and 1976.

Mr. Ross

None, but I understand that the Forestry Commission has to date received firm proposals for planting in the South-West of Scotland from 1970 to 1976 on behalf of clients of the forestry companies amounting to 13,700 acres.
