HC Deb 11 November 1969 vol 791 c73W
Earl of Dalkeith

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what is the normal strategic reserve of nickel for use in Royal Ordnance factories; and by how many tons this has been reduced due to the current world shortage of nickel.

Mr. John Morris

There is no strategic reserve of nickel specifically held for use in Ministry of Defence Royal Ordnance factories, but these factories can draw on the stocks held by the Ministry of Technology.
