HC Deb 11 November 1969 vol 791 c72W
Mr. Maxwell-Hyslop

asked the Prime Minister why the letter from the hon. Member for Exeter (Mrs. Gwyneth Dun-woody) dated 29th October, and addressed to G. A. Clark & Co., 31, St. David's Hill, Exeter, and written in her capacity as Member of Parliament for Exeter and not as a Minister of the Crown, the carbon copy of which was sent to him, was typed at the Board of Trade by Board of Trade personnel.

The Prime Minister

The hon. Member has already been told that this case was dealt with by the Parliamentary Secretary in her Board of Trade office. The letter to Francis S. Clark and Co. was however typed on House of Commons notepaper by the Parliamentary Secretary's constituency secretary, who visited her that day at the Board of Trade.
