The others involved work for employers whose employees as a whole have their tax affairs dealt with there. It is regretted that special wording was not added to the notices in the latter case. More recent versions of the notice state that taxpayers who cannot conveniently get into touch with Manchester inquiry office may call at a convenient local tax office.
