asked the Minister of Transport what action he is taking to ensure that land surplus to requirements for the construction of the A3 motorway is made available by his Department to the Frimley and Camberley Urban District Council in time for them to use the site for the construction of houses required for staff at the new Frimley Park Hospital.

Under the provisions of the motorway contract the contractor has the use of this land until completion of the works, expected to be in mid-1971. It will not be surplus until then.
