§ Mr. DellDuring 1968 there were 72,058 registrations with the Professional and Executive Register, which deals with most professions and also with managerial, technical and scientific posts ; 10,608 vacancies were filled by the Register during the same periodn—14.7 per cent. of the total of registrations. Steps to extend and improve the work of the Register are continuing and include additional staff, better staff training, speedier circulation of vacancies and movement of some offices into better premises.
