HC Deb 04 November 1969 vol 790 c104W
Mrs. Ewing

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland what were the reasons for the delay of his Department in answering the letter from the hon. Member for Hamilton concerning the unfitness of the working conditions for staff and pupils in Holy Cross School dated 20th September, 1969, apart from a postcard acknowledgment ; and what are the proposed steps to be taken to deal with the lack of accommodation, lack of basic equipment in the school and lack of playing fields for 1,500 children.

Mr. Ross

The hon. Member has received the reply sent to her on 23rd October. I regret the delay but inquiries had to be made about the matters which she raised.
