HC Deb 03 November 1969 vol 790 c42W
Mr.Onslow

asked the President of the Board of Trade what penalties have been imposed, during the past 12 months, on the pilots of aircraft which have infringed the noise control regulations at Heathrow.

Mr.Goronwy Roberts:

Infringements of Boards of Trade noise abatement requirements at British Airports Authority aerodromes are rare and do not constitute an offrence at law. All infringements ar taken up with the airlines with a view to discovering the cause and, where appropriate, securing remedial action for the future.
