§ Mr. SkeffingtonOn 30th April proposals were sent to my right hon. Friend on behalf of the local authority associations and other bodies concerned for increases in the maximum rates of financial loss, subsistence and car travel allowances payable to elected members. They have been asked to provide evidence in support of the proposals and this is awaited.
