§ Mr. Pounderasked the Postmaster-General if he will make a statement on the progress of the telephone exchange conversion programme to subscriber trunk dialing in Northern Ireland.
§ Mr. StonehouseS.T.D. has now been extended to 98 exchanges in Northern Ireland, serving 85 per cent. of telephone customers. I expect that by the end of next year 95 per cent. of customers will have S.T.D.
