§ Mr. J. P. W. MallalieuThe United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority has been conducting research on the centrifuge process and its application for many years. In our discussions with the Netherlands and German Governments it has been agreed that any agreement between us to exploit the process must incorporate mutual undertakings and safeguards provisions consistent with our respective policies and international obligations regarding the non-proliferation of nuclear weapons.
