1966–67 48 miles 1967–68 84 miles 1968–69 41 miles In the period 1969–72 it is estimated that a further 180 miles or so will he completed but the precise completion dates will depend on the progress made on individual schemes.
Figures for dual-carriageway principal roads are not readily available.
