§ Mr. Eldon Griffithsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs if, following reduction of the sentences of Chinese prisoners in Hong Kong he will make further representations in Peking for the release of Mr. Anthony Grey.
§ Mr. FoleyThe reduction of sentences is part of a general review of the cases of prisoners in Hong Kong serving long-term sentences for crimes committed during the 1967 disturbances.
We shall continue to make further representations both here and in Peking to secure Mr. Grey's early release.
