§ Mr. Boothasked the Secretary of State for Social Services what steps he is taking to meet the shortage of metric size medicine bottles available for chemists in Barrow-in-Furness.
§ Mr. CrossmanChemists obtain bottles through normal commercial sources and I understand that further supplies should become available in Barrow-in-Furness very shortly. Meanwhile, pharmacists may dispense the prescribed quantity of medicine in remaining Imperial measure bottles. The Executive Council are keeping the position under review.
