§ Mr. K. RobinsonNo. The Government have gone a long way towards accepting the Hunt Committee's recommendations for an enlarged programme for clearing derelict land and for increased grant. Local authorities already use the services of the Opencast Executive of the National Coal Board, but there seems to be no sufficient case for removing responsibility from local government to a central agency.
