§ Mr. Pavittasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what is the present level of average net earnings for general dental practitioners who undertake National Health Service dentistry in Scotland, after meeting practice expenses.
§ Mr. RossThe Dental Rates Study Group advises me that the changes to the scale of fees which came into effect on 1st April, 1969, should be sufficient to produce with effect from 1st January the target average net income for Great Britain of £3,590 per annum recommended by the Review Body on doctors' and dentists' remuneration.
