§ Mr. Wigginasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food how many applications for agricultural investment grant on combine harvesters received between 15th May 1967 and 31st October 1967 were refused; what were the main reasons for refusal; and, in particular, how many cases were refused because the machine had been sold before the application was received.
§ Mr. John MackieI regret that this information is not available in the form requested; but of 2,654 applications for grant on harvesters received and dealt with in the period 15th May to 31st October 1967, 110 were rejected either because the machine had been sold before the application was received or for some other reason.
