To consider and make recommendations for the development and financing of the professional orchestral resources of Great Britain, with particular reference toThe membership of the inquiry has yet to be decided, and no invitations have as yet been issued by the Arts Council.
- 1. public concert-giving, especially outside London,
- 2. broadcasting, television and recording,
- 3. opera and ballet requirements,
- 4. training of young musicians, and
- 5. the relationship of contemporary repertoire and the living composer to financial considerations.
