Mr. J. E. B. Hill

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will list all licences for which a charge is made by his Department, indicating the current charge, showing for the most recent convenient year the number of licences issued, the gross revenue from the licences, the total administrative expenditure in respect of each category of licence and the average administrative cost per licence in respect of each category of licence.

A charge of £2 2s. 6d. is made for licences issued to teachers of anatomy. Eleven new licences were issued in 1968 producing a gross revenue of £23 7s. 6d. The administrative costs were insignificant.
