HC Deb 02 May 1969 vol 782 c322W
Sir C. Osborne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer, in view of the fact that there was an adverse balance of payments on current account, exceeding capital movements of £399 million in 1967 and £419 million in 1968, what is his latest estimate of the size of the favourable balance which Her Majesty's Government expect in 1969.

Mr. Harold Lever

I have nothing to add to the forecasts published in the "Financial Statement and Budget Report, 1969–70".
