On my own plans for visiting Scotland, I would refer my hon. Friends to my reply to a Question by my hon. Friend the Member for Fife, West (Mr. William Hamilton) on 18th March.

The Secretary of State for Scotland and a number of my other Ministerial colleagues recently met the Scottish Trades Union Congress General Council and had a most useful discussion of a number of matters affecting the economic situation in Scotland, including job opportunities in Scotland.—[Vol. 780, c. 201–3.]
