§ Mr. FernyhoughNo. I do not think that the cost of compiling and maintaining a special register of redundancies in the Greater London Area would be justifiable. A considerable amount of information is already recorded about redundancies notified to us under the provisions of the Redundancy Payments Act and in the course of our normal employment work, but as employers are under no obligation to tell us about all redundancies the information is not comprehensive.
