§ Mr. Biffenasked the Secretary of State for Employment and Productivity when she was informed of the claim by workers at the Hawker Siddeley plant at Woodford, Cheshire; what percentage increase in estimated rates, earnings and producticity is involved in the claim; and what is the current state of negotiations.
§ Mr. Harold WalkerThe claim was notified to my Department on 21st November, 1968, and was for a substantial increase in pay. An agreement has been reached which will give the workers concerned an increase in rates but negotiations are still continuing on a bonus scheme.
