§ Mr. MasonYes. The notes have been published by H.M. Stationery Office in the form of a booklet entitled "Guidance Notes for the Initial Inspection of Disused Tips" and are now on sale. I have arranged for copies to be placed in the Library of the House. Although the Notes have been prepared with mine and quarry tips in mind, they contain much that is of general application; they should, therefore, prove useful to persons concerned with the stability of man-made heaps and settling ponds generally.
