§ Mr. Arthur Lewisasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what progress has now been made in the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation 290W with regard to nuclear planning; and when he expects to follow this work up by bilateral negotiations concerning the Nassau Agreement.
§ Mr. WhitlockRegular meetings of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation Nuclear Planning Group and of the wider Nuclear Defence Affairs Committee continue to take place. Valuable progress has been made in tackling the complex problems of nuclear planning and studies are being pursued. As regards the Nassau Agreement, I have nothing to add to what my right hon.
