§ 97. Mr. Clark Hutchisonasked the Secretary of State for Scotland what duties are to be performed by the additional 150 non-industrial civil servants whom it is officially forecast will be employed in the Scottish Home and Health Department during the year beginning April, 1969.
§ Mr. RossThe main increases are 95 prison officers for the Scottish Prison Service and 18 nursing staff for the State Hospital, at both of which the number of inmates is rising steadily, and 16 277W officers for the administration of the National Health Service. Other increases are small and for a wide variety of duties.
