§ 39. Mr. John Fraserasked the Minister of Housing and Local Government how many local authorities have notified him that they are taking steps to control the spread of multiple occupation.
§ Mr. MacCollFive local authorities have obtained powers by local Act to regulate the conditions in which multiple occupation may be established or to prevent it. Provision is made in the Housing Bill to give similar powers to other local authorities who may need them.
