(2) what is the number of beds recommended by his Department for classification as a district general hospital.
§ Mr. CrossmanDistrict general hospitals are defined by their functions, not by the number of beds included. I am awaiting the report of the Central Health Services Council's Committee on the Functions of the District General Hospital.
