§ Mr. Whitakerasked the Minister of Transport whether he will arrange for a departmental study to be carried out into issuing transport tickets in books, in view of this method's advantages in saving time, queueing and staff.
§ Mr. MarshIt is for the transport undertakings concerned to initiate studies of this or other methods of streamlining fare collection if they consider them useful having regard to their requirements and circumstances. The Department is ready to help undertakings with research into methods of fare collection so far as resources permit.
